  WB analysis using 31106-1-AP

  Various lysates were subjected to SDS PAGE followed by western blot with 31106-1-AP (KIAA1199 / CEMIP antibody) at dilution of 1:2500 incubated at room temperature for 1.5 hours.

  IHC staining of human colon cancer using 31106-1-AP

  Immunohistochemical analysis of paraffin-embedded human colon cancer slide using 31106-1-AP (KIAA1199 / CEMIP antibody) at dilution of 1:200 (under 20x lens). Heat mediated antigen retrieval with Tris-EDTA buffer (pH 9.0).

  IF Staining of HeLa using 31106-1-AP

  Immunofluorescent analysis of (-20°C Ethanol) fixed HeLa cells using KIAA1199 / CEMIP antibody (31106-1-AP) at dilution of 1:400 and CoraLite®488-Conjugated Goat Anti-Rabbit IgG(H+L) (SA00013-2).

Hintergrundinformationen

KIAA1199, also known as CEMIP, was first discovered as an inner-ear protein whose genetic mutations were linked to nonsyndromic hearing loss. KIAA1199 is involved in hyaluronan degradation. Studies have shown that KIAA1199 is overexpressed in many types of cancers, suggesting a critical role of KIAA1199 in cancer progression.
