  WB analysis using 27276-1-AP (same clone as 27276-1-PBS)

  Immunohistochemical analysis of paraffin-embedded human ovary cancer tissue slide using 27276-1-AP (KIF21A antibody) at dilution of 1:200 (under 20x lens). Heat mediated antigen retrieval with Tris-EDTA buffer (pH 9.0). This data was developed using the same antibody clone with 27276-1-PBS in a different storage buffer formulation.

Hintergrundinformationen

KIF21A is well known for its association with congenital fibrosis of the extraocular muscles type 1 (CFEOM1). CFEOM1-related mutations in KIF21A relieve autoinhibition of the motor and third coiled-coil stalk, which results in enhanced accumulation of KIF21A in axonal growth cones and aberrant axon morphology in the oculomotor nerve.(PMID: 38767486)
