  FC experiment of C57BL/6 mouse splenocytes using 98224-1-RR (same clone as 98224-1-PBS)

  1x10^6 untreated or Con A treated C57BL/6 mouse splenocytes were intracellularly stained with 0.25 ug Anti-Mouse Ki-67 Rabbit Recombinant Antibody (98224-1-RR, Clone: 241768E2) and PE-Conjugated Goat Anti-Rabbit IgG(H+L). Cells were co-stained with CoraLite® Plus 647 Anti-Mouse CD3. Cells were fixed and permeabilized with Transcription Factor Staining Buffer Kit (PF00011). This data was developed using the same antibody clone with 98224-1-PBS in a different storage buffer formulation.

Cells were fixed and permeabilized with Transcription Factor Staining Buffer Kit (PF00011). This data was developed using the same antibody clone with 98224-1-PBS in a different storage buffer formulation.

  Affinity and Kinetic Characterization of 98224-1-RR

  Biolayer interferometry (BLl) kinetic assays of 98224-1-RR against Mouse Ki-67 were performed. The affinity constant is 1.97 nM.

Hintergrundinformationen

The Ki-67 protein (also known as MKI67) is a cellular marker for proliferation. Ki67 is present during all active phases of the cell cycle (G1, S, G2 and M), but is absent in resting cells (G0). Cellular content of Ki-67 protein markedly increases during cell progression through S phase of the cell cycle. Therefore, the nuclear expression of Ki-67 can be evaluated to assess tumor proliferation by immunohistochemistry. It has been demonstrated to be of prognostic value in breast cancer. In head and neck cancer, several studies have reported an association between high proliferative activity and poorer prognosis.
