  FC experiment of mouse splenocytes using 98167-1-RR (same clone as 98167-1-PBS)

  1x10^6 untreated or anti-CD3/CD28 treated mouse splenocytes were surface stained with 0.25 ug Anti-Mouse LAG-3/CD223 Rabbit Recombinant Antibody (98167-1-RR, Clone: 241294E11) and PE-Conjugated Goat Anti-Rabbit IgG(H+L). Cells were not fixed. This data was developed using the same antibody clone with 98167-1-PBS in a different storage buffer formulation.

Cells were not fixed. This data was developed using the same antibody clone with 98167-1-PBS in a different storage buffer formulation.

  Affinity and Kinetic Characterization of 98167-1-RR

  Biolayer interferometry (BLl) kinetic assays of 98167-1-RR against Mouse LAG-3/CD223 were performed. The affinity constant is 0.636 nM.

Lymphocyte activation gene 3 protein (LAG-3), also known as CD223, is a type I transmembrane protein belonging to the immunoglobulin superfamily (PMID: 1692078). It is a CD4-related molecule that binds MHC class II with high affinity (PMID: 1692078; 9159144). LAG-3 is expressed on activated T and NK cells. Besides, natural CD4(+)CD25(+) Tregs express LAG-3 upon activation (PMID: 15485628). LAG-3 negatively regulates T-cell function and homeostasis, and contributes to the suppressor activity of Tregs (PMID: 14644131; 15485628).
