  Immunohistochemical analysis of paraffin-embedded human stomach cancer tissue slide using 82946-1-RR (LAMB2 antibody) at dilution of 1:1000 (under 20x lens). Heat mediated antigen retrieval with Tris-EDTA buffer(pH9). This data was developed using the same antibody clone with 82946-1-PBS in a different storage buffer formulation.

  FC experiment of HepG2 using 82946-1-RR (same clone as 82946-1-PBS)

  1x10^6 HepG2 cells were intracellularly stained with 0.4 ug LAMB2 Recombinant antibody (82946-1-RR, Clone:230143E4) and CoraLite®488-Conjugated AffiniPure Goat Anti-Rabbit IgG(H+L) (SA00013-2)(red), or 0.4 ug Isotype Control (blue). Cells were fixed with 4% PFA and permeabilized with Flow Cytometry Perm Buffer (PF00011-C). This data was developed using the same antibody clone with 82946-1-PBS in a different storage buffer formulation.

LAMB2 (laminin subunit beta 2), also known as LAMS. Laminins, a family of extracellular matrix glycoproteins, are the major noncollagenous constituent of basement membranes. They have been implicated in a wide variety of biological processes including cell adhesion, differentiation, migration, signaling, neurite outgrowth and metastasis. Laminins, composed of 3 non identical chains: laminin alpha, beta and gamma (formerly A, B1, and B2, respectively), form a cruciform structure consisting of 3 short arms, each formed by a different chain, and a long arm composed of all 3 chains. This gene encodes the beta chain isoform laminin, beta 2. It is enriched in the basement membrane of muscles at the neuromuscular junctions, kidney glomerulus and vascular smooth muscle. Transgenic mice in which the beta 2 chain gene was inactivated by homologous recombination, showed defects in the maturation of neuromuscular junctions and impairment of glomerular filtration. The calculated molecular weight of LAMB2 is 200 kDa.
