Leucine-rich repeat and fibronectin type-III domain-containing protein 5(LRFN5), belongs to a family of five small transmembrane protein genes involved in the development, organization, and plasticity of synapses. LRFN5 has another synonym which stands for synaptic adhesion-like molecule 5 (SALM5).
