  WB analysis using 27850-1-AP

  Various lysates were subjected to SDS PAGE followed by western blot with 27850-1-AP (MED23 antibody) at dilution of 1:1000 incubated at room temperature for 1.5 hours.

• 

  WB analysis of A375 using 27850-1-AP

  A375 cells were subjected to SDS PAGE followed by western blot with 27850-1-AP (MED23 antibody) at dilution of 1:600 incubated at room temperature for 1.5 hours.

• 

  IHC staining of human stomach using 27850-1-AP

  Immunohistochemical analysis of paraffin-embedded human stomach tissue slide using 27850-1-AP (MED23 antibody) at dilution of 1:1000 (under 20x lens). Heat mediated antigen retrieval with Tris-EDTA buffer (pH 9.0).

Hintergrundinformationen

MED23 is a component of the Mediator complex, it is a coactivator involved in the regulated transcription of nearly all RNA polymerase II-dependent genes. Mediator functions as a bridge to convey information from gene-specific regulatory proteins to the basal RNA polymerase II transcription machinery. Mediator is recruited to promoters by direct interactions with regulatory proteins and serves as a scaffold for the assembly of a functional pre-initiation complex with RNA polymerase II and the general transcription factors.
