  Immunofluorescent analysis of (4% PFA) fixed A431 cells using CoraLite® Plus 488 MORC3 antibody (CL488-24994) at dilution of 1:200, CL594-phalloidin (red).

  FC experiment of A431 using CL488-24994

  1x10^6 A431 cells were intracellularly stained with 0.4 ug CoraLite® Plus 488-conjugated MORC3 Polyclonal antibody (CL488-24994)(red), or 0.4 ug CoraLite® Plus 488-conjugated Rabbit IgG control Rabbit PolyAb (CL488-30000) (blue). Cells were fixed and permeabilized with Transcription Factor Staining Buffer Kit (PF00011).

Hintergrundinformationen

MORC3, also named as MORC family CW-type zinc finger protein 3 or NXP2, is a 939 amino acid protein, which contains 1 CW-type zinc finger. MORC3 localizes in the nucleus and are expressed in heart, placenta, skeletal muscle, brain, pancreas, lung, liver, but not kidney. MORC3 as Nuclear factor which forms MORC3-NBs (nuclear bodies) via an ATP-dependent mechanism. Sumoylated MORC3-NBs can also associate with PML-NBs and recruits TP53 and SP100 to PML-NBs, thus regulating TP53 activity. It may be required for influenza A transcription during viral infection. The calculated molecular weight of MORC3 is a 107 kDa, but the Sumoylated MORC3 protein is about 130 kDa.
