  WB analysis using 55487-1-AP

  Various lysates were subjected to SDS PAGE followed by western blot with 55487-1-AP (MUC13 antibody) at dilution of 1:1000 incubated at room temperature for 1.5 hours.

• 

  IHC staining of human colon cancer using 55487-1-AP

  Immunohistochemical analysis of paraffin-embedded colon cancer slide using 55487-1-AP (MUC13 antibody) at dilution of 1:200 (under 20x lens). Heat mediated antigen retrieval with Tris-EDTA buffer (pH 9.0).

• Erfolgreiche Detektion in IHC: humanes Kolonkarzinomgewebe; Hinweis: Antigendemaskierung mit TE-Puffer pH 9,0 empfohlen. (*) Wahlweise kann die Antigendemaskierung auch mit Citratpuffer pH 6,0 erfolgen.

Mucins (MUC) are highly glycosylated proteins that are abundantly expressed in mammalian epithelial cells. Mucin 13 (MUC13) is a member of the transmembrane glycoprotein mucins which is normally expressed in the large intestine, trachea, kidney, small intestine, and gastric epithelium (PMID: 22027689). MUC13 is involved in the tumorigenesis of multiple malignancies, including pancreatic cancer, colorectal cancer, renal cancer and lung cancer (PMID: 22027689; PMID: 31427737; PMID: 28205224; PMID: 34966453).
