  WB analysis of HepG2 using 19547-1-AP

  HepG2 cells were subjected to SDS PAGE followed by western blot with 19547-1-AP (MXD1 antibody) at dilution of 1:500 incubated at room temperature for 1.5 hours.

• 

  IP experiment of HepG2 using 19547-1-AP

  IP result of anti-MXD1 (IP:19547-1-AP, 4ug; Detection:19547-1-AP 1:800) with HepG2 cells lysate 2000 ug.

Hintergrundinformationen

MXD1, also named as MAD, is a transcriptional repressor. MAD1 binds with MAX to form a sequence-specific DNA-binding protein complex which recognizes the core sequence 5'-CAC[GA]TG-3'. MAD thus antagonizes MYC transcriptional activity by competing for MAX. There're two isoforms of MXD1 protein.
