  Immunohistochemical analysis of paraffin-embedded mouse skeletal muscle tissue slide using 83852-3-RR (MYOM3 antibody) at dilution of 1:0 (under 10x lens). Heat mediated antigen retrieval with Tris-EDTA buffer (pH 9.0). This data was developed using the same antibody clone with 83852-3-PBS in a different storage buffer formulation.

  IF Staining of mouse skeletal muscle using 83852-3-RR (same clone as 83852-3-PBS)

  Immunofluorescent analysis of (4% PFA) fixed mouse skeletal muscle tissue using MYOM3 antibody (83852-3-RR, Clone: 240981F9 ) at dilution of 1:200 and CoraLite®488-Conjugated AffiniPure Goat Anti-Rabbit IgG(H+L) (SA00013-2). This data was developed using the same antibody clone with 83852-3-PBS in a different storage buffer formulation.

  Affinity and Kinetic Characterization of 83852-3-RR

  Biolayer interferometry (BLl) kinetic assays of 83852-3-RR against Human MYOM3 were performed. The affinity constant is 0.106 nM.

Hintergrundinformationen

MYOM3 (myomesin 3) is a structural component of the M-band in striated muscle and is involved in sarcomere stability and resistance during intense or sustained stretching. MYOM3 can be detected mainly in intermediate-speed fibers of skeletal muscle. Recently high levels of MYOM3 fragments were detected in sera from patients with muscular dystrophy, including Duchenne muscular dystrophy (DMD). MYOM3 fragments may be used as serum biomarkers for DMD and other neuromuscular disorders.
