  1x10^6 PC-12 cells were surface stained with 0.25 ug Anti-Rat NGFR/TNFRSF16 Rabbit RecAb (98369-1-RR, Clone: 242465H4) and PE-Conjugated Goat Anti-Rabbit IgG(H+L) (red), or 0.25 ug Rabbit IgG Isotype Control RecAb (98136-1-RR, Clone: 240953C9) (blue). Cells were not fixed.

NGFR, also named as TNFRSF16, Gp80-LNGFR, p75 ICD and CD271, is a low affinity receptor which can bind to NGF, BDNF, NT-3, and NT-4. It mediates cell survival as well as cell death of neural cells.
