  IF Staining of U2OS using CL488-28509

  Immunofluorescent analysis of (4% PFA) fixed U2OS cells using CoraLite® Plus 488 NOC2L antibody (CL488-28509) at dilution of 1:200, CL594-Phalloidin (red).

• 

  FC experiment of U2OS using CL488-28509

  1x10^6 U2OS cells were intracellularly stained with 0.8 ug CoraLite® Plus 488-conjugated NOC2L Polyclonal antibody (CL488-28509)(red), or 0.8 ug CoraLite® Plus 488-conjugated Rabbit IgG control Rabbit PolyAb (CL488-30000) (blue). Cells were fixed and permeabilized with Transcription Factor Staining Buffer Kit (PF00011).

Hintergrundinformationen

NOC2L, also known as NIR, is a transcriptional corepressor with inhibitor of histone acetyltransferase (INHAT) activity (PMID: 16322561). It prevents acetylation of all core histones by the histone acetyltransferase EP300/p300. NOC2L interacts with p53, inhibits p53-activated gene expression, and regulates p53-dependent apoptosis (PMID: 16322561). NIR binds to TAp63 and acts as a repressor of TAp63-mediated transactivation of the p21Cip1 gene (PMID: 20123734). NOC2L is ubiquitously expressed throughout embryonic development and adulthood (PMID: 16322561). NOC2L has been reported as a key regulator of skin development. Epidermis-specific ablation of NOC2L impairs epidermal stratification and barrier function (PMID: 29490983).
