  WB analysis using 15630-1-AP

  K-562 cells lysates were subjected to SDS PAGE followed by western blot with 15630-1-AP (NRD1 antibody) at dilution of 1:500 incubated at room temperature for 1.5 hours.

  IHC staining of mouse testis using 15630-1-AP

  Immunohistochemical analysis of paraffin-embedded mouse testis tissue slide using 15630-1-AP (NRD1 antibody) at dilution of 1:200 (under 40x lens). Heat mediated antigen retrieval with Tris-EDTA buffer (pH 9.0).

  Immunohistochemical analysis of paraffin-embedded human testis using 15630-1-AP (NRD1 antibody) at dilution of 1:50 (under 40x lens).

Hintergrundinformationen

NRD1(Nardilysin) is also named as NRD-C(N-arginine dibasic convertase). It is a zinc metalloendopeptidase of the M16 pitrilysin family that cleaves peptides at dibasic residues. The enzyme has also been found in neural tissues of mouse embryos indicating a role in neural development. Although nardilysin is primarily found in the cytosol, it has been reported that nardilysin is located on the cell surface acting as a receptor for heparinbinding EGF-like growth factor(PMID:15809022). It has 2 isoforms produced by alternative splicing.
