  FC experiment of human PBMCs using 98524-3-RR (same clone as 98524-3-PBS)

  1x10^6 untreated or GM-CSF-treated human PBMCs were surface stained with 0.25 ug Anti-Human OLR1/LOX1 Rabbit RecAb (98524-3-RR, Clone: 250525B12) and PE-Conjugated Goat Anti-Rabbit IgG(H+L). Cells were then stained with CoraLite® Plus 647 Anti-Human CD14. Cells were not fixed. Monocytes were gated. This data was developed using the same antibody clone with 98524-3-PBS in a different storage buffer formulation.

  1x10^6 GM-CSF-treated human PBMCs were surface stained with 0.25 ug Anti-Human OLR1/LOX1 Rabbit RecAb (98524-3-RR, Clone: 250525B12) (red) or Rabbit IgG Isotype Control RecAb (98136-1-RR, Clone: 240953C9) (blue), and PE-Conjugated Goat Anti-Rabbit IgG(H+L). 1x10^6 untreated human PBMCs were surface stained with 0.25 ug Anti-Human OLR1/LOX1 Rabbit RecAb (98524-3-RR, Clone: 250525B12) (black, dashed) and PE-Conjugated Goat Anti-Rabbit IgG(H+L). Cells were not fixed. Monocytes were gated. This data was developed using the same antibody clone with 98524-3-PBS in a different storage buffer formulation.

Hintergrundinformationen

OLR1/LOX-1 acts as a receptor, in the form of homodimer, that mediates the recognition, internalization, and degradation of oxidatively modified low density lipoprotein (oxLDL) (PMID: 9052782, 15695803). ORL1 is predominantly expressed in endothelial cells and vascular-rich organs such as the placenta, lung, liver, and brain (PMID: 9828121). OLR1 is a protein containing 273 amino acids with a calculated molecular mass of 31 kDa but an apparent molecular mass of 50 kDa, which may result from the glycosylation of four potential N-linked glycosylation sites located at the C-terminal domain (PMID: 9052782).
