  IF Staining of A549 using CL488-17373

  Immunofluorescent analysis of (4% PFA) fixed A549 cells using CoraLite® Plus 488 PADI4 antibody (CL488-17373) at dilution of 1:200.

• 

  FC experiment of HeLa using CL488-17373

  1X10^6 HeLa cells were intracellularly stained with 0.8 ug CoraLite® Plus 488 Anti-Human PADI4 (CL488-17373) (red), or 0.8 ug CoraLite® Plus 488-conjugated Rabbit IgG control Rabbit PolyAb (CL488-30000, Clone: ) (blue). Cells were fixed with 4% PFA and permeabilized with Flow Cytometry Perm Buffer (PF00011-C).

Hintergrundinformationen

PADI4, also named as PADI5 and PDI5, catalyzes the citrullination/deimination of arginine residues of proteins such as histones, thereby playing a key role in histone code and regulation of stem cell maintenance. PADI4 is expressed in hematologic and rheumatoid arthritis synovial tissues. PADI4 haplotype associated with susceptibility to rheumatoid arthritis increases production of citrullinated peptides, leading, in a cytokine-rich milieu, to a break in tolerance to citrullinated peptides processed and presented in the appropriate HLA context. Immunohistochemistry detected significant PADI4 expression in various malignancies and PADI4 expression was not detected in non-tumor tissues.(PMID: 19183436)
