  Various lysates were subjected to SDS PAGE followed by western blot with 21084-1-AP (PDZD7 antibody) at dilution of 1:600 incubated at room temperature for 1.5 hours.

  Immunohistochemical analysis of paraffin-embedded mouse eye tissue slide using 21084-1-AP (PDZD7 antibody) at dilution of 1:200 (under 10x lens). Heat mediated antigen retrieval with Tris-EDTA buffer (pH 9.0).

PDZD7, also known as PDZK7, is essential in organizing the USH2 complex at stereocilia ankle links and blocks inhibition of adenylate cyclase activity mediated by ADGRV1. PDZD7 encodes a PDZ domain-containing scaffold protein that is highly expressed in hair cells of the inner ear. PDZD7 is also expressed in the cilia of photoreceptors (PMID: 33530996). Dysfunction or mutations of PDZD7 result in Usher syndrome type 2 (USH2) and Autosomal recessive non-syndromic hearing loss(ARNSHL) (PMID: 29048736, 20440071).
