  WB analysis using 16074-1-AP

  Various lysates were subjected to SDS PAGE followed by western blot with 16074-1-AP (PIAS2 antibody) at dilution of 1:1500 incubated at room temperature for 1.5 hours.

  WB analysis of MCF-7 using 16074-1-AP

  MCF7 cells were subjected to SDS PAGE followed by western blot with 16074-1-AP (PIAS2 antibody) at dilution of 1:2000 incubated at room temperature for 1.5 hours.

  Immunofluorescent analysis of (4% PFA) fixed MCF-7 cells using 16074-1-AP (PIAS2 antibody) at dilution of 1:50 and CoraLite488-Conjugated AffiniPure Goat Anti-Rabbit IgG(H+L).

PIAS2 functions as an E3-type small ubiquitin-like modifier (SUMO) ligase, stabilizing the interaction between UBE2I and the substrate, and as a SUMO-tethering factor. PIAS2 also plays a crucial role as a transcriptional coregulator in various cellular pathways, including the STAT pathway, the p53 pathway and the steroid hormone signaling pathway. PIAS2 has 3 isoforms produced by alternative splicing with the MW of 68 kDa, 63 kDa and 45 kDa.
