  WB analysis of HepG2 using 13486-1-AP

  HepG2 cells were subjected to SDS PAGE followed by western blot with 13486-1-AP (PIAS3 antibody) at dilution of 1:300 incubated at room temperature for 1.5 hours.

  HeLa cells were subjected to SDS PAGE followed by western blot with 13486-1-AP (PIAS3 antibody) at dilution of 1:400 incubated at room temperature for 1.5 hours.

Hintergrundinformationen

PIAS3(E3 SUMO-protein ligase PIAS3) is a protein of 583 amino acid, has a molecular mass of 68 kDa and belongs to a family of proteins that includes several other members(PMID:11060035). PIAS3 is an inhibitor of activated STAT3 and binds microphthalmia-associated transcription factor, which is a key DNA-binding protein, in rat basophilic leukemia cells and mouse melanocytes(PMID:11709556). The PIAS3 antibody detects PIAS3 (68 kDa) as well as its sumoylated form (85 kDa) in some normal mouse tissues, breast and brain tumor cell lines(PMID:20371673).
