  WB analysis using 67483-1-Ig (same clone as 67483-1-PBS)

  Various lysates were subjected to SDS PAGE followed by western blot with 67483-1-Ig (PIP5K1A antibody) at dilution of 1:5000 incubated at room temperature for 1.5 hours. The membrane was stripped and reblotted with HRP-conjugated Beta Actin Monoclonal antibody (HRP-66009) as loading control. This data was developed using the same antibody clone with 67483-1-PBS in a different storage buffer formulation.

  Immunohistochemical analysis of paraffin-embedded human tonsillitis tissue slide using 67483-1-Ig (PIP5K1A antibody) at dilution of 1:500 (under 10x lens). Heat mediated antigen retrieval with Tris-EDTA buffer (pH 9.0). This data was developed using the same antibody clone with 67483-1-PBS in a different storage buffer formulation.

Phosphatidylinositol 4-phosphate 5-kinases (PIP5Ks) play diverse roles in the cellular biology of many organisms, including signal transduction, secretion and vesicular trafficking, and regulation of cytoskeleton assembly(PMID:17688436). There are three PIP5K isoforms,α, β, and γ. The nomenclature for the α and β isoforms is switched between humans and mice(PMID:22096541). There are also several splicing variants of the γ isozyme have been identified.(PMID:20945365). PIP5K1A has some isoforms produced by alternative splicing with the molecular mass of 56-63 kDa.
