PLCG1, also named as PLC1, PLC-II and PLC-148, is a major substrate for heparin-binding growth factor 1 (acidic fibroblast growth factor)-activated tyrosine kinase. PLCG1 catalyzes the reaction: 1-phosphatidyl-1D-myo-inositol 4,5-bisphosphate + H2O = 1D-myo-inositol 1,4,5-trisphosphate + diacylglycerol. The antibody recognizes near the C-term of PLCG1.
