Hintergrundinformationen

PRMT8 is a member of arginine methyl transferase (PRMT) family which acts as nuclear receptor coactivators. PRMT8 catalyzes the asymmetric arginine methylation and is involved in cellular differentiation. PRMT8 has several isoforms; the full-length isoform has a brain specific expression pattern and is localized to the plasma membrane; the truncated isoforms display nuclear localization and are expressed more widely. This antibody recognizes all of isoforms of PRMT8.
