  WB analysis using 13169-1-AP

  Various lysates were subjected to SDS PAGE followed by western blot with 13169-1-AP (QKI antibody) at dilution of 1:1500 incubated at room temperature for 1.5 hours.

  IP result of anti-QKI (IP:13169-1-AP, 4ug; Detection:13169-1-AP 1:400) with K-562 cells lysate 3600ug.

  IHC staining of human stomach cancer using 13169-1-AP

  Immunohistochemical analysis of paraffin-embedded stomach cancer slide using 13169-1-AP (QKI antibody) at dilution of 1:300 (under 20x lens). Heat mediated antigen retrieval with Tris-EDTA buffer (pH 9.0).

Hintergrundinformationen

QKI (Quaking) is RNA-binding protein that plays a central role in myelinization (PMID: 16641098). It regulates pre-mRNA splicing, mRNA export and protein translation (PMID: 16641098). It acts upstream of or within several processes, including long-chain fatty acid biosynthetic process, positive regulation of macromolecule metabolic process and vasculogenesis. QKI shuttles internal m7G-modified transcripts into stress granules and modulates mRNA metabolism. It is expressed in the frontal cortex of brain (PMID: 16342280).
