  WB analysis using 67024-1-Ig (same clone as 67024-1-PBS)

  Various lysates were subjected to SDS PAGE followed by western blot with 67024-1-Ig (RAD51 antibody) at dilution of 1:10000 incubated at room temperature for 1.5 hours. The membrane was stripped and reblotted with HRP-conjugated Alpha Tubulin Monoclonal antibody (HRP-66031) as loading control. This data was developed using the same antibody clone with 67024-1-PBS in a different storage buffer formulation.

  WB analysis of NIH/3T3 using 67024-1-Ig (same clone as 67024-1-PBS)

  WB result of RAD51 antibody (67024-1-Ig; 1:1200; incubated at room temperature for 1.5 hours) with sh-Control and sh-RAD51 transfected NIH/3T3 cells. This data was developed using the same antibody clone with 67024-1-PBS in a different storage buffer formulation.

  Immunohistochemical analysis of paraffin-embedded mouse testis tissue slide using 67024-1-Ig (RAD51 antibody) at dilution of 1:2000 (under 10x lens). Heat mediated antigen retrieval with Tris-EDTA buffer (pH 9.0). This data was developed using the same antibody clone with 67024-1-PBS in a different storage buffer formulation.

RAD51 plays a critical role in the maintenance of genomic integrity by functioning in the repair of DNA double-strand breaks. It mediates homologous pairing and strand exchange in recombinatory structures known as RAD51foci in the nucleus. It also can bind to single and double stranded DNA and exhibits DNA-dependent ATPase activity. In addition, it has a role in regulating mitochondrial DNA copy number under conditions of oxidative stress in the presence of RAD51C and XRCC3.
