  Immunohistochemical analysis of paraffin-embedded mouse brain tissue slide using 66815-1-Ig (RARS antibody) at dilution of 1:400 (under 10x lens). Heat mediated antigen retrieval with Tris-EDTA buffer (pH 9.0). This data was developed using the same antibody clone with 66815-1-PBS in a different storage buffer formulation.

  Immunofluorescent analysis of (-20°C Methanol) fixed HeLa cells using RARS antibody (66815-1-Ig, Clone: 1C8G4 ) at dilution of 1:800 and CoraLite®488-Conjugated AffiniPure Goat Anti-Mouse IgG(H+L). This data was developed using the same antibody clone with 66815-1-PBS in a different storage buffer formulation.

Hintergrundinformationen

RARS, also named ArgRS (arginyl-tRNA synthetase), belongs to the class-I aminoacyl-tRNA synthetase family which catalyze the aminoacylation of tRNA by their cognate amino acid. In higher eukaryotes, one of the two arginyl-tRNA synthetases (ArgRSs) has evolved to have an extended N-terminal domain that plays a crucial role in protein synthesis and cell growth and in integration into the multisynthetase complex (MSC) (PMID:25288775). RARS has two isoforms with the molecular weight of 75 and 67 kDa.
