SC4MOL(sterol C4-methyl oxidase-like), an intermediate enzyme in the cholesterol biosynthetic pathway, was included in the library based on its representation in a high confidence GEO transcriptional profiling dataset as a transcript that rapidly undergoes significant expression change in response to stimulation or inhibition of EGFR.
