Hintergrundinformationen

SDC4, also known as syndecan 4, is a cell surface proteoglycan that bears heparan sulfate, which is involved in normal wound healing. It has been reported that SDC4 may be associated with keratinocyte proliferation and differentiation in the epidermis. SDC4 also plays a key role in angiogenesis and inflammation. The predicted MW of SDC4 is 22 kDa, and 11820-1-AP antibody recognizes a protein around 24-26 kDa and 48-52 kDa (homodimer), which is similar to the papers.(PMID: 20639201, 21949132; 18638267; 30165731 )
