  WB analysis using 83968-5-RR (same clone as 83968-5-PBS)

  Boiled and unboiled mouse brain tissues were subjected to SDS PAGE followed by western blot with 83968-5-RR (SLC38A2 antibody) at dilution of 1:10000 incubated at room temperature for 1.5 hours. This data was developed using the same antibody clone with 83968-5-PBS in a different storage buffer formulation.

  IHC staining of mouse pancreas using 83968-5-RR (same clone as 83968-5-PBS)

  Immunohistochemical analysis of paraffin-embedded mouse pancreas tissue slide using 83968-5-RR (SNAT2 antibody) at dilution of 1:8000 (under 40x lens). Heat mediated antigen retrieval with Tris-EDTA buffer (pH 9.0). This data was developed using the same antibody clone with 83968-5-PBS in a different storage buffer formulation.

  Affinity and Kinetic Characterization of 83968-5-RR

  Biolayer interferometry (BLl) kinetic assays of 83968-5-RR against Human SNAT2 were performed. The affinity constant is below 1 pM.

SNAT2 (Sodium-dependent neutral amino acid transporter-2), the ubiquitous member of SLC38 family, accounts for the activity of transport system A for neutral amino acids in most mammalian tissues (PMID: 16734764). SNAT2 mediates uptake of neutral α-amino acids and are expressed in central neurons (PMID: 19240036). SNAT2 is expressed in breast cancer cell lines. SLC38A2 also acts as a selective target for inhibiting growth of Gln-dependent breast cancer cell lines (PMID: 33028955).
