  WB analysis of human testis using 66329-1-Ig (same clone as 66329-1-PBS)

  human testis tissue were subjected to SDS PAGE followed by western blot with 66329-1-Ig (SRD5A1 Antibody) at dilution of 1:1000 incubated at room temperature for 1.5 hours. This data was developed using the same antibody clone with 66329-1-PBS in a different storage buffer formulation.

Steroid 5-alpha-reductase (SRD5A1)   is a minor component of the reductase activity in prostate although the gene was originally cloned from prostate. On the other hand, SRD5A1 appears to be the predominant isozyme of steroid 5-alpha-reductase in the scalp and elsewhere in the skin.
