  WB analysis using 14419-1-AP

  HepG2 cells were subjected to SDS PAGE followed by western blot with 14419-1-AP (TCF12/HEB antibody) at dilution of 1:5000 incubated at room temperature for 1.5 hours.

  WB analysis of HeLa using 14419-1-AP

  WB result of TCF12/HEB antibody (14419-1-AP; 1:4000; incubated at room temperature for 1.5 hours) with sh-Control and sh-TCF12/HEB transfected HeLa cells.

• Erfolgreiche Detektion in IHC: humanes Zervixkarzinomgewebe; Hinweis: Antigendemaskierung mit TE-Puffer pH 9,0 empfohlen. (*) Wahlweise kann die Antigendemaskierung auch mit Citratpuffer pH 6,0 erfolgen.

Hintergrundinformationen

The product of TCF12 gene (TCF12, also called HTF4 or HEB) is a member of helix-loop-helix (HLH) protein family [PMID:22130667]. TCF12 is a transcriptional regulator that involved in the initiation of neuronal differentiation. It 's also known as E proteins, and activates transcription by binding to the E box (5'-CANNTG-3'), because of their direct DNA (E-box) binding ability [PMID: 19204326]. TCF12 was shown to suppress E-cadherin expression during the early stages of renal tubular epithelial cell dedifferentiation [PMID:17202424].
