  FC experiment of human PBMCs using 98527-1-RR (same clone as 98527-1-PBS)

  1x10^6 human PBMCs were surface stained with 0.25 ug Anti-TCR Vγ5Vδ1 Rabbit RecAb (98527-1-RR, Clone:251677A1) , or Rabbit IgG Isotype Control RecAb (98136-1-RR, Clone: 240953C9) and PE-Conjugated Goat Anti-Rabbit IgG(H+L). Cells were then stained with CoraLite® Plus 647 Anti-Human CD3. Cells were not fixed. Lymphocytes were gated. This data was developed using the same antibody clone with 98527-1-PBS in a different storage buffer formulation.

TCR Vγ5Vδ1 refers to a specific type of T cell receptor (TCR) found on γδ T cells. These cells are a distinct subset of T lymphocytes that play a role in immune responses, particularly in maintaining tissue integrity and responding to stress signals. The Vγ5Vδ1 TCR is uniquely expressed on a population of T cells called dendritic epidermal T cells (DETCs) that reside in the epidermis (PMID: 35260830, 35031803). The Vγ5Vδ1 TCR-CD3 complex forms an asymmetric dimer, with the Vγ5 domains of each protomer interacting to create a back-to-back structure. This dimeric form is essential for T cell activation (PMID: 38657677).
