  Immunohistochemical analysis of paraffin-embedded stomach cancer slide using 83099-2-RR (TGN46 antibody) at dilution of 1:2000 (under 20x lens). Heat mediated antigen retrieval with Tris-EDTA buffer (pH 9.0). This data was developed using the same antibody clone with 83099-2-PBS in a different storage buffer formulation.

  FC experiment of HepG2 using 83099-2-RR (same clone as 83099-2-PBS)

  1x10^6 HepG2 cells were intracellularly stained with 0.4 ug TGOLN2,TGN46 Recombinant antibody (83099-2-RR, Clone:230376D6) and CoraLite®488-Conjugated AffiniPure Goat Anti-Rabbit IgG(H+L) (SA00013-2)(red), or 0.4 ug Isotype Control (blue). Cells were fixed with 4% PFA and permeabilized with Flow Cytometry Perm Buffer (PF00011-C). This data was developed using the same antibody clone with 83099-2-PBS in a different storage buffer formulation.

  Affinity and Kinetic Characterization of 83099-2-RR

  Biolayer interferometry (BLl) kinetic assays of 83099-2-RR against Human TGOLN2,TGN46 were performed. The affinity constant is 0.633 nM.

Hintergrundinformationen

TGN46 (TGOLN2), the human homologue of rat Tgn38, is a transmembrane glycoprotein predominantly localized to the TGN (trans-Golgi network). TGN is a major secretory pathway sorting station for proteins and lipids. TGN46 may be involved in regulating membrane traffic to and from TGN. Alternatively spliced transcript variants encode different TGN46 isoforms. TGN46 has an apparent molecular mass of 100-150 kDa, suggesting extensive O- and N-glycosylations.
