  WB analysis of human brain using 12730-1-AP

  human brain tissue were subjected to SDS PAGE followed by western blot with 12730-1-AP (VASH1 antibody) at dilution of 1:500 incubated at room temperature for 1.5 hours.

VASH1, also named as vasohibin 1, is a angiogenesis inhibitor induced by the stimulation with VEGF. High expression of VASH1 has been researched in some tumors as a result of VEGF induction. It has been suggested that VASH-1 is clinically significant in bladder cancer, colorectal cancer and NSCLC. VASH-1 may be a potential marker of gastric cancer and a target for vascular targeting therapy. 12730-1-AP detects 41 kDa form secreted protein and 36 kDa form protein accumulated within the cells or pericellular milieu in SDS-PAGE.(PMID:19057892, 29042936, 29552154, 26666821)
