  WB analysis of mouse liver using 12824-1-AP

  mouse liver tissue were subjected to SDS PAGE followed by western blot with 12824-1-AP (VPS53 Antibody) at dilution of 1:1500 incubated at room temperature for 1.5 hours.

  WB analysis of human liver using 12824-1-AP

  human liver tissue were subjected to SDS PAGE followed by western blot with 12824-1-AP (VPS53 antibody) at dilution of 1:300 incubated at room temperature for 1.5 hours.

  Immunohistochemical analysis of paraffin-embedded human stomach tissue slide using 12824-1-AP (VPS53 antibody) at dilution of 1:400 (under 20x lens). Heat mediated antigen retrieval with Tris-EDTA buffer (pH 9.0).

• Immunpräzipitation (IP): IP : 0.5-4.0 ug for 1.0-3.0 mg of total protein lysate
• Immunhistochemie (IHC): IHC : 1:200-1:800

VPS53 is a component of the Golgi-associated retrograde protein (GARP) complex, also called VFT (VPS fifty-three) complex, composed of VPS51, VPS52, VPS53 and VPS54. GARP complex functions in traffic from endosomes to the trans-Golgi network (PMID: 15878329). GARP proteins interact with RAB proteins and SNARE proteins.
