  Various lysates were subjected to SDS PAGE followed by western blot with 28018-1-AP (VRK1 antibody) at dilution of 1:4000 incubated at room temperature for 1.5 hours.

  Immunohistochemical analysis of paraffin-embedded human stomach tissue slide using 28018-1-AP (VRK1 antibody) at dilution of 1:400 (under 20x lens). Heat mediated antigen retrieval with Tris-EDTA buffer (pH 9.0).

  Immunohistochemical analysis of paraffin-embedded skin cancer slide using 28018-1-AP (VRK1 antibody) at dilution of 1:800 (under 20x lens). Heat mediated antigen retrieval with Tris-EDTA buffer (pH 9.0).

Vaccinia-related kinase 1 (VRK1) is a members of the vaccinia-related kinase (VRK) family of serine/threonine kinases and are principally localized in the nucleus. VRK1 was initially described as a kinase with homology to B1R, a vaccinia virus kinase required for viral DNA replication and the early phase of infection. It has been suggested that VRK1 was overexpressed in numerous human tumors, such as lung carcinomas, hepatocellular carcinoma, breast carcinomas, head and neck squamous cell carcinoma.
