  FC experiment of U-937 using 66175-1-Ig (same clone as 66175-1-PBS)

  1X10^6 U-937 cells were intracellularly stained with 0.4 ug Anti-Human Vitamin D binding protein (66175-1-Ig, Clone:1E4D10) and CoraLite®488-Conjugated AffiniPure Goat Anti-Mouse IgG(H+L) at dilution 1:1000 (red), or 0.4 ug Control Antibody. Cells were fixed with 4% PFA and permeabilized with Flow Cytometry Perm Buffer (PF00011-C). This data was developed using the same antibody clone with 66175-1-PBS in a different storage buffer formulation.

Vitamin D binding protein is a sparsely glycosylated serum protein responsible for highly specific binding and tissue-specific delivery of vitamin D and its metabolites. In addition, it is also an actin scavenger, and is the precursor to the immunomodulatory protein, Gc-MAF. Vitamin D binding protein has been proposed to have significant roles in C5a chemotaxis, osteoclast development and possibly in macrophage activation/recruitment.
