  Immunofluorescent analysis of (4% PFA) fixed HepG2 cells using p300 antibody (83078-4-RR, Clone: 230369H8 ) at dilution of 1:250 and CoraLite®488-Conjugated Goat Anti-Rabbit IgG(H+L) (SA00013-2).

  FC experiment of THP-1 using 83078-4-RR

  1x10^6 THP-1 cells were intracellularly stained with 0.25 ug p300 Recombinant antibody (83078-4-RR, Clone:230369H8) and APC-Conjugated Goat Anti-Rabbit IgG(H+L)(red), or 0.25 ug Isotype Control (blue). Cells were fixed and permeabilized with True-Nuclear Transcription Factor Buffer Set.

p300 is a 300 kDa global transcriptional coactivator with histone acetyltransferase (HAT) activity. p300 binds to chromosomal histones and modulates the chromatin conformation by acetylation of its histones, leading to activation of various gene transcriptions. p300 plays a critical role in DNA repair synthesis after DNA damage induced by ultraviolet or radiation. p300 is overexpressed in various types of cancer, which is associated with worse patient outcomes (PMID: 27322077).
