  IF Staining of HeLa using 98048-1-RR (same clone as 98048-1-PBS)

  Immunofluorescent analysis of (4% PFA) fixed HeLa cells using uPAR/CD87 antibody (98048-1-RR, Clone: 240366G10 ) at dilution of 1:400 and CoraLite®488-Conjugated Goat Anti-Rabbit IgG(H+L) (SA00013-2), CL594-Phalloidin (red). This data was developed using the same antibody clone with 98048-1-PBS in a different storage buffer formulation.

  FC experiment of U-937 using 98048-1-RR (same clone as 98048-1-PBS)

  1x10^6 PMA-treated U-937 cells were surface stained with 0.25 ug Anti-Human uPAR/CD87 Rabbit Recombinant Antibody (98048-1-RR, Clone: 240366G10) (red) or isotype control (blue) and PE-conjugated Goat Anti-Rabbit IgG. Untreated U-937 cells were surface stained with 0.25 ug Anti-Human uPAR/CD87 Rabbit Recombinant Antibody (98048-1-RR, Clone: 240366G10) and PE-conjugated Goat Anti-Rabbit IgG (black). Cells were not fixed. This data was developed using the same antibody clone with 98048-1-PBS in a different storage buffer formulation.

  Affinity and Kinetic Characterization of 98048-1-RR

  Biolayer interferometry (BLl) kinetic assays of 98048-1-RR against Human uPAR were performed. The affinity constant is 4.70 nM.

Hintergrundinformationen

uPAR, also known as CD87, is a highly glycosylated, GPI-anchored membrane protein. In addition to the membrane-anchored form, uPAR is released from the plasma membrane by cleavage of the GPI anchor and can be found as a soluble form (suPAR). uPAR contains three homologous domains (D1-D3) of which the N-terminal one (D1) represents the uPA-binding domain. After binding to uPAR, uPA cleaves plasminogen, generating the active protease plasmin which is involved in a wide variety of physiologic and pathologic processes. In addition to regulating proteolysis, uPAR has important function in cell adhesion, migration and proliferation. Studies reveal that uPAR expression is elevated during inflammation and tissue remodeling and in many human cancers, in which it frequently indicates poor prognosis. (PMID 20027185; 12461559)
