  WB analysis using 27450-1-AP (same clone as 27450-1-PBS)

  unboiled rat lung tissue were subjected to SDS PAGE followed by western blot with 27450-1-AP (ABCA3 antibody) at dilution of 1:1000 incubated at room temperature for 1.5 hours. This data was developed using the same antibody clone with 27450-1-PBS in a different storage buffer formulation.

Informations générales

ABCA3 belongs to the ATP-binding cassette (ABC) transporter superfamily. ABCA3, which is expressed in alveolar type II pneumocytes and localizes predominantly to the limiting membrane of lamellar bodies, is critical for synthesis of surfactant(PMID: 17267394). Mutation of the ABCA3 gene causes fatal surfactant deficiency in newborns(PMID: 15044640).
