  Various lysates were subjected to SDS PAGE followed by western blot with 27726-1-AP (ABCB4 antibody) at dilution of 1:2500 incubated at room temperature for 1.5 hours. This data was developed using the same antibody clone with 27726-1-PBS in a different storage buffer formulation.

ABCB4, also known as MDR3, is a member of the superfamily of ATP-binding cassette (ABC) transporters. ABCB4 is expressed on the apical membrane of hepatocytes and functions to transport phosphatidylcholine (PC) from hepatocytes into the bile canaliculus (PMID: 16622704).
