  WB analysis using 68017-1-Ig (same clone as 68017-1-PBS)

  Various lysates were subjected to SDS PAGE followed by western blot with 68017-1-Ig (ACOX1 antibody) at dilution of 1:5000 incubated at room temperature for 1.5 hours. The membrane was stripped and reblotted with HRP-conjugated GAPDH Monoclonal antibody (HRP-60004) as loading control. This data was developed using the same antibody clone with 68017-1-PBS in a different storage buffer formulation.

  FC experiment of NIH/3T3 using 68017-1-Ig (same clone as 68017-1-PBS)

  1x10^6 NIH/3T3 cells were intracellularly stained with 0.25 ug ACOX1 Monoclonal antibody (68017-1-Ig, Clone:3E12E10) and CoraLite®488-Conjugated Goat Anti-Mouse IgG(H+L) (SA00013-1)(red), or 0.25 ug Mouse IgG1 isotype control Mouse McAb (66360-1-Ig, Clone: 1F8D3) (blue). Cells were fixed with 4% PFA and permeabilized with Flow Cytometry Perm Buffer (PF00011-C). This data was developed using the same antibody clone with 68017-1-PBS in a different storage buffer formulation.

Informations générales

ACOX1(Peroxisomal acyl-coenzyme A oxidase 1) is the first and rate-limiting enzyme in the peroxisomal fatty acid beta-oxidation pathway and catalyzes the desaturation of acyl-CoAs to 2-trans-enoyl-CoAs. It belongs to the acyl-CoA oxidase family and also named as ACOX, AOX, SCOX. It has 3 isoforms produced by alternative splicing with the molecular mass of 70-74 kDa and can be cleaved post-translationally into a 50-kDa and a 22-kDa subunit between Val468 and Ala469 (PMID: 10672038). Defects in ACOX1 are the cause of adrenoleukodystrophy pseudoneonatal (Pseudo-NALD).
