  WB analysis using 83878-5-RR (same clone as 83878-5-PBS)

  Various lysates were subjected to SDS PAGE followed by western blot with 83878-5-RR (AES antibody) at dilution of 1:10000 incubated at room temperature for 1.5 hours. This data was developed using the same antibody clone with 83878-5-PBS in a different storage buffer formulation.

  Affinity and Kinetic Characterization of 83878-5-RR

  Biolayer interferometry (BLl) kinetic assays of 83878-5-RR against Human AES were performed. The affinity constant is 1.76 nM.

Informations générales

Amino-terminal enhancer of split (AES), belongs to the groucho/TLE family of proteins, can function as a homooligomer or as a heteroologimer with other family members in order to forcefully repress the expression of other family member genes. AES can repress NFkB-regulated gene expression and is believed to have a significant role in initiating and maintaining cell differentiation events. AES has been found to suppress local invasion and intravasation through inhibition of the Notch pathway, leading to preventing the metastatic spread of endogenous tumors(PMID: 33754069).
