  WB analysis using 26430-1-AP

  HepG2 cells were subjected to SDS PAGE followed by western blot with 26430-1-AP (BOK antibody) at dilution of 1:1000 incubated at room temperature for 1.5 hours.

• 

  FC experiment of MCF-7 using 26430-1-AP

  1X10^6 MCF-7 cells were intracellularly stained with 0.4 ug Anti-Human BOK (26430-1-AP) and CoraLite®488-Conjugated Goat Anti-Rabbit IgG(H+L) at dilution 1:1000 (red), or 0.4 ug Control Antibody. Cells were fixed with 4% PFA and permeabilized with Flow Cytometry Perm Buffer (PF00011-C).

Informations générales

BOK belongs to the BCL2 family, members of which form homo- or heterodimers, and act as anti- or proapoptotic regulators that are involved in a wide variety of cellular processes. Studies in rat show that this protein has restricted expression in reproductive tissues, interacts strongly with some antiapoptotic BCL2 proteins, not at all with proapoptotic BCL2 proteins, and induces apoptosis in transfected cells. Thus, this protein represents a proapoptotic member of the BCL2 family.
