  WB analysis using 33133-1-AP (same clone as 33133-1-PBS)

  Various lysates were subjected to SDS PAGE followed by western blot with 33133-1-AP (BXDC5 antibody) at dilution of 1:10000 incubated at room temperature for 1.5 hours. This data was developed using the same antibody clone with 33133-1-PBS in a different storage buffer formulation.

  IF Staining of U2OS using 33133-1-AP (same clone as 33133-1-PBS)

  Immunofluorescent analysis of (4% PFA) fixed U2OS cells using BXDC5 antibody (33133-1-AP) at dilution of 1:800 and CoraLite®488-Conjugated Goat Anti-Rabbit IgG(H+L) (SA00013-2), CL594-Phalloidin (red). This data was developed using the same antibody clone with 33133-1-PBS in a different storage buffer formulation.

Informations générales

BXDC5 (Brix domain-containing protein 5), also known as ribosome biogenesis protein RPF1, is a protein containing a Brix domain and is localized in the nucleolus. The Brix domain is a region that shares homology with the yeast protein Pitx1 (ribosome biogenesis protein BRX1). BXDC5 is a key factor in ribosome biogenesis, participating in the maturation of the 60S ribosomal subunit. This protein exerts its function by binding to specific rRNA structures and acts as a downstream effector molecule of the Ran signaling pathway, involved in ribosome biogenesis. In colorectal cancer (CRC), BXDC5 influences the occurrence and development of tumors by regulating ribosome biogenesis.
