  WB analysis of HepG2 using 24068-1-AP

  HepG2 cells were subjected to SDS PAGE followed by western blot with 24068-1-AP (C9orf41/CARNMT1 antibody) at dilution of 1:1000 incubated at room temperature for 1.5 hours.

The enzyme CARNMT1 (carnosine N-methyltransferase 1, also known as C9orf41), conserved from yeast to human, was identified as an N1 position-specific methyltransferase that catalyzes the conversion of carnosine to anserine (β-alanyl-N-π-methyl-L-histidine).
