Western blot, 30 µg lysate per well. Glioblastoma stem-like cells were cultured as small speroids and treated with CoCl2 to stabilise HIF-1a, or as medium or XL speroids (no CoCl2 treatment). There were are a few bands visible on the blot, but CoCl2 induced a band at around 60 kDa, and XL speroids which have a hypoxic core also resulted in a heavy band at the same height.
