  FC experiment of human peripheral blood platelets using 65587-1-MR (same clone as 65587-1-PBS)

  1x10^6 thrombin treated human peripheral blood platelets were surface stained with 0.25 ug Anti-Human CD62P Mouse IgG2a Recombinant Antibody (65587-1-MR, Clone: AK4) (red) or Mouse IgG2a Isotype Control (65208-1-Ig, Clone: C1.18.4) (blue) and CoraLite®488-Conjugated AffiniPure Donkey Anti-Mouse IgG(H+L). Untreated human peripheral blood platelets were surface stained with 0.25 ug Anti-Human CD62P Mouse IgG2a Recombinant Antibody (65587-1-MR, Clone: AK4) and CoraLite®488-Conjugated AffiniPure Donkey Anti-Mouse IgG(H+L)(black). Cells were not fixed. This data was developed using the same antibody clone with 65587-1-PBS in a different storage buffer formulation.

Informations générales

P-selectin, also known as GMP140 or CD62P, is a transmembrane glycoprotein that mediates the interaction of activated endothelial cells or platelets with leukocytes. It is an adhesion molecule involved in the pathogenesis of inflammation, thrombosis, and oncogenesis. P-selectin is stored in the alpha-granules of platelets and Weibel-Palade bodies of endothelial cells. Upon cell activation by agonists, P-selectin is transported rapidly to the cell surface.
