  FC experiment of human PBMCs using 65514-1-RR (same clone as 65514-1-PBS)

  1x10^6 human PBMCs were treated with FC Receptor Block then surface stained with 0.1 ug Anti-Human CD86 Rabbit Recombinant Antibody (65514-1-RR, Clone:BU63) or Rabbit IgG control PolyAb (30000-0-AP), and CoraLite®647-conjugated AffiniPure F(ab')2 Fragment Donkey Anti-Rabbit IgG (H+L) (SA00014-7). Cells were not fixed. Monocytes were gated. This data was developed using the same antibody clone with 65514-1-PBS in a different storage buffer formulation.

Informations générales

CD86 (also known as B7-2) is a costimulatory molecule belonging to the immunoglobulin superfamily. Primarily expressed on antigen-presenting cells (APCs), including B cells, dendritic cells, and macrophages, CD86 is the ligand for two proteins at the cell surface of T cells, CD28 antigen and CTLA-4. Binding of CD86 with CD28 antigen is a costimulatory signal for activation of the T-cell. Binding of CD86 with CTLA-4 negatively regulates T-cell activation and diminishes the immune response.
