  WB analysis using 85378-1-RR (same clone as 85378-1-PBS)

  Various lysates were subjected to SDS PAGE followed by western blot with 85378-1-RR (CLN5 antibody) at dilution of 1:10000 incubated at room temperature for 1.5 hours. This data was developed using the same antibody clone with 85378-1-PBS in a different storage buffer formulation.

  IF Staining of A431 using 85378-1-RR (same clone as 85378-1-PBS)

  Immunofluorescent analysis of (4% PFA) fixed A431 cells using CLN5 antibody (85378-1-RR, Clone: 242812H6 ) at dilution of 1:500 and CoraLite®488-Conjugated Goat Anti-Rabbit IgG(H+L) (SA00013-2), CL594-Phalloidin (red). Informations générales

The CLN5 (ceroid lipofuscinosis neuronal protein 5) protein is ubiquitously expressed in the majority of tissues studied and in the brain, CLN5 shows both neuronal and glial cell expression. CLN5 plays a role in maintaining an acidic environment in the lysosomes, a critical feature for a functional lysosome (PMID: 38236309). Moreover, CLN5-deficient neuronal progenitor cells showed reduced thioesterase activity, confirming the live cell function of CLN5 in setting S-depalmitoylation levels (PMID: 35427157).
