  WB analysis using 31190-1-AP (same clone as 31190-1-PBS)

  Various lysates were subjected to SDS PAGE followed by western blot with 31190-1-AP (COL17A1 antibody) at dilution of 1:1500 incubated at room temperature for 1.5 hours. This data was developed using the same antibody clone with 31190-1-PBS in a different storage buffer formulation.

  IHC staining of rat skin using 31190-1-AP (same clone as 31190-1-PBS)

  Immunohistochemical analysis of paraffin-embedded rat skin tissue slide using 31190-1-AP (COL17A1 antibody) at dilution of 1:200 (under 40x lens). Informations générales

Collagen alpha-1(XVII) chain, also termed 180-kDa bullous pemphigoid antigen (BP180), is a type II transmembrane glycoprotein with a collagenous carboxyl-terminal extracellular domain and a noncollagenous amino-terminal cytoplasmic domain. High expression of COL17A1 has also been identified as a marker of human esophageal quiescent stem/progenitor cells (PMID: 35709398, 9545306). As a structural component of the hemidesmosome, COL17A1 is not only present as the full-length 180 kDa transmembrane form, but also as a cleaved 120 kDa soluble form that is further processed to a 97 kDa form (PMID: 113594550).
